We hope you and your family are remaining safe as we endure the effects of Hurricane Dorian. Based on the latest information from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) we expect the storm to be completely past the Charleston area by late Thursday night with some minor lingering effects from the storm through 2:00 AM EST Friday morning. Based on this guidance, we are planning on being open for business Friday, September 6th @ 7:00AM EST.

 

We encourage you to come into work tomorrow morning for your normal shift provided it is safe to do so. If you have questions or are in need of assistance please escalate concerns to your manager immediately. We are here to help.

 

Work at Home

 

If you are assigned to Work-at-Home and are able to do so safely, please continue your work at home schedule for the remainder of the week and/or weekend and plan on returning to the office on Monday, September 9, 2018. Please contact your manager with any questions.

Wednesday, September 4, 2019

12:45 PM EST

 

In response to Hurricane Dorian, and based on the latest forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), Dorian is a Category 2 Hurricane expected to stay off the coast but still impact Charleston and surrounding coastal areas with intermittent rain expected throughout the day, with increasing winds, as the outer bands start to come on shore today. We expect hurricane conditions starting Thursday, September 5th.

 

If you have made the decision to evacuate, please communicate with your manager as to your status and please be safe. For those that are remaining in place, our site will remain open today, Wednesday, September 4th until 7:00 PM EST.

 

Based on the latest information and concern for your safety we will be closed Thursday, September 5.

 

NOAA expects the storm to be completely past Charleston area by Friday morning with some minor lingering effects with the storm off central North Carolina coast. Based on this guidance, we are planning on being open for business Friday, September 6th @ 7:00AM EST.

 

The next update confirming Friday, September 6th operations schedule will be made no later than Thursday, September 5th 4:00 PM EST. Please check the hotline, social media, website and with your manager for the latest updates.

 

Work-at-Home

In response to Hurricane Dorian, and based on the latest forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), Dorian is a Category 2 Hurricane expected to stay off the coast but still impact Charleston and surrounding coastal areas starting late Wednesday, September 4th.

 

If you have made the decision to evacuate, please communicate with your manager as to your status and please be safe. For those that are remaining in place, our site will remain open normal operating hours Tuesday, September 3rd and will open at 8:00 AM EST Wednesday, September 4th. We will make further decisions on Wednesday operations after NOAA’s Wednesday, September, 4th update @ 12:00 PM EST and will update our communication to you by 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday.

 

Work-at-Home

We are working with clients to adjust afternoon and evening start times to work earlier in the day on Wednesday. Please communicate with your manager about your availability to work earlier.

In response to Hurricane Dorian, and based on the latest forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), Dorian is expected to impact Charleston and surrounding coastal areas starting Thursday, September 5th @ 2:00 AM EST.

 

As previously stated, South Carolina government officials expect the storm to impact parts of the South Carolina coast bringing heavy rain, wind and potential flooding. Governor Henry McMaster has ordered schools closed in Charleston and mandatory evacuations for several coastal counties in preparation of Hurricane Dorian.

 

Evacuations will begin today Monday, September 2nd @ 12:00 PM EST.

 

LANE REVERSALS

 

The S.C. Department of Public Safety and the S.C. Department of Transportation, along with supporting agencies, will reverse the direction of traffic along certain evacuation routes to ease the flow of traffic away from the coast at noon on Monday.

 

If you have made the decision to evacuate, please communicate with your manager as to your status and please be safe. For those that are remaining in place, our site will remain open Monday, September 2nd and Tuesday, September 3rd. We will make further decisions after NOAA’s Tuesday, September, 3rd update @ 11:00 AM EST and will update our communication to you by 1:30 pm on Tuesday.

In response to Hurricane Dorian, and based on the latest forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), South Carolina government officials expect the storm to impact parts of the South Carolina coast bringing heavy rain, wind and potential flooding beginning on Wednesday, September 4th @ 8:00AM EST. Based on the latest forecast on Sunday evening, Governor Henry McMaster has ordered schools closed in Charleston and mandatory evacuations for several coastal counties in preparation of Hurricane Dorian.

 

Evacuations will begin at noon on Monday, September 2nd.

 

LANE REVERSALS
